Biography

Heiko Wehrhahn has been Vice President and Global Head of Structured Finance at Vestas for the past 3 years. He has over 20 years of experience in Project Finance and the renewable energy sector. Prior to Vestas, Heiko spent 11 years mainly in Investment banking, responsible for Project Finance, Structured Finance and Financial Engineering transactions and subsequent to this period he moved into renewable energy development, responsible for financing and selling of renewable energy projects where he was Head of Project Finance for national and international projects including working and living in the US. Heiko completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in business administration in Germany and the US.
