Biography

Vladimir Dmitrievskii graduated from Ural State University with a master degree in theoretical physics in 1996. In 2007, he graduated from the post-graduate course of Ural State Technical University, specializing in electric drives and defended his PhD thesis devoted to mathematical modeling and optimal designing the electric motors. He is an author of more than 30 scientific papers and of three monographs in the field of electrical engineering. His field of scientific interests is optimal designing energy-efficient motors and generators and their optimal control algorithms. He is an author of four patents for invention. Since 2011, he is an associate professor at the Electrical Engineering department of Ural Federal University. Since 2012, he is a researcher in the laboratory of the electric drives of Ural Federal University. In 2014, Vladimir Dmitrievskii and his colleagues founded EMACH LLC specializing in designing energy-efficient electric motors and generators.
