Biography

Vasilis Pettas is working as research assistant at Stuttgart Wind Energy (SWE) at Univesity of Stuttgart. He holds a Diploma in mechanical engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and an M.Sc. in Wind Wnergy from Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He has also worked as intern in Siemens Wind Power SA Loads and Validation group in Copenhagen for one year. His research interests include active wind turbine control, aero-servo-elastic modelling and optimization as well as unsteady aerodynamics.
