Biography

Uwe Sarrazin is the Head of Global Education & Learning within the Global Service Organization of GE Renewable Energy, responsible for the close collaboration with the global leadership team to identify, analyze and prioritize performance development needs and drive development of training metrics and framework. Focus on cost reduction through innovative training delivery methods across the full scope of Projects and Services, development of customer specific training packages and strategic positioning in terms of growth and new market entry. Uwe is the chairman of an industry working group with our main competitors; the vision of the group is to change the Health & Safety culture in this industry. Furthermore, he is a member of the GWO training committee. Uwe holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical College Fachschule Maschinentechnik in Lingen / Germany. He is based at the European GE Headquarter for Renewable Energy in Salzbergen Germany.
