Biography

Svitlana Teush is a Counsel of the Energy and Corporate practices of Redcliffe Partners, Head of Real Estate and Construction practices and the Renewable Energy Focus practice group. Svitlana practised law for more than 15 years with leading international and Ukrainian law firms, advising on energy (including both renewables and oil & gas), construction, infrastructure, privatisation and public procurement matters, as well as on the energy market reform, including gas TSO unbundling, and on the implementation of the Third Energy Package in Ukraine. Svitlana is a member of the National Commission on environment and energy of the International Chamber of Commerce, a member of the working group of the American Chamber of Commerce on electricity issues, and an independent mediator of the Dispute Resolution and Negotiation Centre of the Energy Community which is authorised to mediate disputes, including under the PPAs concluded in Ukraine. She is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine, a contributing expert of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association (UWEA) and a co-author of UWEA’s annual Ukrainian Wind Power Sector overview. In 2015-2016, Svitlana was Vice-Chairman and Board member of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency which promoted improvements of the support mechanism and incentives for renewables in Ukraine.
