Biography

Soren Krohn is Senior Wind Energy Consultant for the World Bank Group. He has been in the wind power business for 24 years advising on procurement policies, wind resource assessment, project pre-development and local manufacturing in 40 developing countries and North America, working on 7,000 MW of wind IPP projects. He was previously CEO of Danish Wind Industry Association, Vice President of European Wind Energy Association, recipient of the Poul la Cour Prize, and is presently working in the Global Wind Atlas team of the World Bank Group.
