Biography

Simon heads the Offshore Projects Team within the Project Engineering Group at DNV GL. He has over 15 years engineering experience within the renewable energy industry on technical due diligence and assessment of project under development and in operation. Simon works as commercial lead, managing a team providing technical due diligence, risk management and consultancy services to offshore projects for a wide range of parties, including investors, developers, owners and operators. He holds a Masters Degree in Engineering and has significant experience in operational and pre construction wind farm analysis and model development, wind and power curve measurements, site conditions and validation.
