Biography

Rakesh Maharaj B (Tech)(Hons). MBA. MIC. CMIOSH Having led Panels of Inquiry into 9 fatalities worldwide within the energy sector, in his 21 career as a consultant and researcher Rakesh has had the unique opportunity to study the effects of strategic business decisions and business architecture on safety and business performance. His advises multinational asset-based organisations, with complex socio and organisational cultures, systems, regulation and supply chains. Rakesh's team deliver large scale transformation projects designed to improve business performance holistically. Rakesh is MD and Chief Technical Officer of ARMSA Consulting, a business transformation consulting practice. He is an Honours graduate in Epidemiology, Hygiene and Safety; and holds an MBA with Distinction in International Business and Applied Systems Thinking.
