Biography

Po Wen Cheng is professor of wind energy at the University of Stuttgart, with a combination of research experience and practical design work at a major OEM. His research topics cover the field of dynamic of floating wind turbine, Lidar-assisted control and system engineering based optimization approach. Educating and inspiring the next generation wind energy engineers and researcher is one major focus for him as he believes that only with conviction of the people will the renewable energy transformation be a success.
