Biography

Pablo Duran is currently a project engineer in WindSim in Norway. He is also working on his industrial PhD on wind energy at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. He studied electrical engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica in Chile where be published a paper in Renewable Energy based on his master thesis. After his master’s he worked in Chile as consultant for renewable energy projects. He then moved to Norway to start his industrial PhD in 2017. His research is focused on the coupling of numerical weather prediction models with CFD models for wind resource assessment applications.
