Power Quality Engineer, DNV GL
Biography
Mohamad El Ghouti completed in 2016 his M.Sc. degree in wind turbine engineering at the university of applied sciences, Kiel, Germany. Prior to that he was writing his master thesis at DNVGL on the influence of the background distortion on harmonic emission. After graduation, Mohamad continued his career at DNVGL as a development engineer with the basic deliverable of characterising, evaluating, understanding and modelling the interface between the grid’s background distortion and the harmonic emission of a power generation unit. Moreover, he is working with many experts from the industry on research projects trying to find new techniques and ideas that help describing the phenomena of harmonics .
