Senior Geotechnical Engineer, SPT Offshore

Biography

Marijn has joined SPT Offshore as a geotechnical engineer in 2014, after graduating cum laude from the European Wind Energy Master. He has since worked on numerous projects both in offshore wind and oil & gas, with a focus on foundation stiffness and soil-structure interaction. He has been involved in the detailed design and offshore installation of the suction pile foundations for the Dudgeon offshore substation and most recently the Aberdeen offshore wind farm, the world’s first wind farm fully founded on suction pile jackets.
