Biography

Marie-Anne has over ten years’ experience in the wind industry and is a Chartered Engineer with the IMechE. She is a Senior Engineer in the Renewable Energy Analytics team at DNV GL and is the technical lead for offshore wind resource and energy yield assessments in Northern Europe. She has overseen the delivery of energy yield analyses for several offshore wind farms with a total name-plate capacity of over 8 GW. Marie-Anne has previously presented research on topics including offshore wind speed inter-annual variability, a validation of mesoscale modelling for offshore wind farms and a study of offshore turbine availability. Marie-Anne has a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
