Biography

Jan-Joost has more than 10 years of experience as a project manager and consultant in multi-disciplinary offshore and coastal projects. He initially gained experience in working with advanced numerical modelling techniques in the field of tides, density driven flows, waves, wave-current interaction, sediment transport and morphology. Since 2009 he has focus on the offshore wind market. In this role, he has been acting as project manager for multi-disciplinary international projects in the field of offshore wind farm developments, both on consultancy and on research level. Furthermore, he has expertise in offshore design conditions of offshore wind farms, systems analysis, problem solving, quality control and tracking.
