Biography

Mr. Júlio César Passos is a mechanical engineer from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), with a master's degree in wind energy from COPPE-UFRJ and a doctorate from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris 6. He is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), and guides researches in the area of heat transfer with phase change (boiling and condensation) and renewable energies (wind and concentrated solar power).
