Biography

Dr. Oxley has been working in the wind energy field for 9 years both in industry and academia. He is currently a Lead CFD Engineer with the Plant Performance and Modelling group at Vestas Wind Systems A/S in Aarhus, Denmark. He studied Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, where he obtained a PhD in compressible vortex particle methods for rotorcraft applications. Upon completion of his doctoral studies, Dr. Oxley joined Vestas in 2009 and has since been actively researching wind resource assessment techniques using CFD.
