Biography

Bachelor’s (2006) and Master's Degrees (2010) in Environmental and Territory Engineering at the University of Padua (Italy). His Master's thesis project, during a period at Aalborg’s University (Denmark), consisted in the design and evaluation of an mooring system for a wave energy convertor. Since 2011 he works in the Offshore Energy Area at Tecnalia Research & Innovation at Derio (Spain) as offshore researcher. He has worked in several national and international projects. The main activities are focused on the design of mooring system and power cable evacuation grid for floating offshore wind platforms and wave energy converters. During these years he has got knowledge in design of mooring system for floating offshore platforms; hydrodynamic characterizations of floating devices; international engineering codes and standards; design of power evacuation grid for offshore energy farms; analysis of metoceanic data; marine operations design; techno-economic assessment of offshore devices.
