Biography

Geotechnical engineer, Foad ZAHEDI has spent his professional life serving the Offshore Oil & Gas industry. After having experienced West Africa on offshore drill ships and rigs for majors such as TOTAL, ELF and TEXACO, Foad ZAHEDI rapidly proved himself as Managing Director of large scale offshore projects. Recognized in his role as a manager, Foad Zahedi was given the general management of THALES GEOSOLUTIONS France with full responsibility over the business unit. His focus over the last few years have been on Offshore Renewable Energy and his company - JIFMAR OFFSHORE SERVICES. Recently the company mobilized several vessels to serve the renewable energy sector installing new and modern infrastructure. Today approximately 40% of JIFMAR OFFSHORE SERVICES’ activities are in support of Offshore Renewable Energy.
