expert researcher, ENPC/CEREA
Mr. Dupont has been working in the wind industry for more than 10 years. He is currently expert researcher at EDF-R&D and CEREA (joint laboratory between EDF-R&D and the French engineers school Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées). He got his PhD with a thesis on the study of the atmospheric boundary layer using a backscattering lidar. Then he worked at EDF-R&D on the development and applications of an atmospheric CFD code. He also worked on mesoscale atmospheric modeling. He has been working for several years on a meso-scale / micro-scale model-chain for wind resource assessment and wake losses estimation.
