Director, Forge Risk
Biography
Chris is Director of Forge Risk – an independent HSEQ risk management consultancy. He is a highly-experienced professional with over 30 years’ HSEQ experience working in complex and high-risk business and operational environments. This encompasses specialist knowledge in wind energy with complementary skills and knowledge in manufacturing, construction and asset management. In his current and former role and previously as Director of Health & Safety at RenewableUK, Chris has played a leading role in the development national and international standards covering the life cycle of project development in the wind sector. Chris was the Scheme Manager for an ISO 17021 Certification Body. Chris is a member of several standards committees and is UK expert on 61400-30- Wind Turbines – Safety of the WTGs General principles for Design and IEC/TS 62933-5-2 Electrical Energy Storage (ESS) Systems (Safety).Presenter
