Session description
As wind infrastructure becomes digitally critical, its resilience increasingly depends on who builds, installs, and maintains it. This session explores why supply‑chain cyber risks are long‑term, systemic, and politically sensitive — and why technical controls alone are not enough. Speakers will examine governance dilemmas around transparency, jurisdiction, and acceptable risk levels, comparing market‑led, risk‑based, and policy approaches. The discussion asks how Europe can credibly and proportionally govern supplier‑related cybersecurity across a globalised wind industry.
