Biography

Elif Gündüzyeli leads The Nature Conservancy's Renewable Energy Programme in Europe, working to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy in a nature and people positive way for a just energy transition. Prior to joining TNC, Elif worked at Climate Action Network (CAN) Europe, most recently serving as Interim Head of Energy coordinating the energy policy and campaigns of the organisation. Throughout her career around climate, energy and environmental issues for the past 15 years, Elif has focused on matching a rights-based “bottom-up” approach with a “top-down” political and policy-driven one. She holds an MSc in Environmental Social Sciences from the University of Kent, Canterbury.
