Biography

A seasoned chief executive with over 25 years of varied and extensive experience in spearheading large-scale renewable and infrastructure projects worldwide, Craig Windram’s expertise spans all aspects of the energy transition, from development and financing to operation and optimisation. Craig has extensive knowledge of the complete energy transition, spanning generation, transmission, distribution and retail, and has been involved as a developer, owner, contractor and operator. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the development of several regional renewable energy platforms, with a presence in Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia, as well as the development, financing and execution of renewable energy projects around the world, raising and structuring debt financing, and deploying and managing equity positions. In addition, throughout their various stages, he has been involved in overseeing the construction, operation and maintenance of major infrastructure assets, resolving operational issues, aligning asset performance with business objectives and protecting return on equity. Craig is also an accomplished entrepreneur who began his career by founding and developing several energy-transition companies. He has excelled in engaging stakeholders, establishing strategic visions, appointing effective leadership, optimising operations, managing risks and strengthening governance. As a top management figure, he is a committed team leader who has led multi-disciplinary, international and culturally diverse groups to achieve critical bottom-line targets.
