James O’Reilly is Chief Executive Officer of Greenlink Interconnector Limited, a 500MW HVDC electricity interconnector between Ireland and the UK. Greenlink is the first project financed interconnector, and it was delivered on schedule and on budget in January 2025. James has over 30 years experience delivering energy and infrastructure projects in Ireland, Europe, the US and Asia. He has previously held senior management positions with Phelan Energy, KTL Group, Rivada Networks and Accenture. He has a masters degree in engineering and an MBA;
