Biography

Ariel Brunner, Regional Director of BirdLife Europe and Central Asia, with 25 years’ experience in biodiversity conservation and EU policy, coordinates work on a wide array of topics ranging from nature and biodiversity conservation to climate and energy. He is currently a member of the board of the Renewable Grid Initiative, has been involved in numerous studies, and has contributed to the launching of the OCEaN alliance, a ground-breaking cooperation between NGOs, TSOs and the offshore wind industry.
