Biography

Henrik Bang-Andreasen is a distinguished expert in offshore cable protection systems and marine technology with over 40 years of industry experience. As the founder of Portunus Solutions Ltd and an independent consultant, he specializes in CPS and cable stabilization for offshore foundations. His entrepreneurial journey includes founding Seaproof Solutions, where he served as Managing Director for over 30 years and developed numerous innovative cable protection solutions and patents. Prior to his current ventures, Henrik built and managed the Norwegian division of MacArtney Underwater Technology Group. His background includes significant experience with ROV and underwater services at Svitzer Surveys, complemented by his military service in the Royal Danish Navy. Throughout his career, Henrik has been at the forefront of marine operations, equipment installation, and business development in the underwater technology sector. His extensive expertise in cable installation and protection systems has made him a respected figure in the offshore energy industry.
