Girish Tanti, Co-founder & Vice Chairman of the Suzlon Group, is a renewable energy pioneer with over three decades of global experience. An Engineer with an MBA from the UK, he has been instrumental in shaping Suzlon’s international growth, establishing technology centres, global supply chains, and wind markets across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Australia. He serves as Vice Chairman – GWEC, Chairman – GWEC India and Chairman – Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA) and Chairs several key renewable energy councils in India including CII Renewable Energy Committee. Passionate about advancing the global energy transition, Mr. Tanti is committed to building an equitable, sustainable future through innovation, collaboration, and clean energy leadership.
