Biography

Amanda Dasch is a seasoned management executive with more than 20 years of experience in the U.S. energy and renewable energy sector and several international markets. Leading Ørsted‘s global Commercial organization as a member of the Group Executive Team, she oversees Development across Europe, the Americas, and APAC, as well as Trading & Revenue, Global Stakeholder Relations, and Strategy & Innovation. She first joined Ørsted as CEO for Region Americas, responsible for the company's 11 GW U.S. portfolio of assets in development, construction, and operations across solar, onshore wind, offshore wind, and battery storage. Prior to joining Ørsted, Amanda spent approximately two decades at Shell, most recently as Vice President of Renewable Generation Americas, leading offshore wind development in North America and overseeing both onshore and offshore renewable generation in South America. Her career at Shell also included leadership roles in production, development, and offshore exploration, with international postings in Brunei and The Netherlands.  Amanda currently serves on the board of directors for the American Clean Power Association. She earned a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Michigan and completed her undergraduate studies at Amherst College.
