Biography

Bärbel Heidebroek is President of the German Wind Energy Association (BWE), the voice of the German onshore wind industry. She is the founder and CEO of the Landwind Group, a German Mittelstand developer and operator of wind energy projects, headquartered in Gevensleben, Lower Saxony. In addition to her role at BWE, she serves as Vice President of the German Renewable Energy Federation (BEE) and as Chair of the Renewable Energy Association of Lower Saxony/Bremen (LEE).
