Biography

Tara joined RenewableUK as CEO in February 2026 and is leading the organisation and close to 500 member companies through the next phase of the UK’s clean energy transition. Her priorities include ensuring that Government and industry work even closer together to strengthen UK energy security, get bills as low as possible, and deliver investment to every part of the country. Tara previously served as Managing Director for Public Affairs at global communications agency, Burson. Prior to this, she held senior roles at Shell’s Renewable and Energy Solutions division, and acted as an Energy and Environment Adviser to Prime Minister, David Cameron.
