The project MooringSense aims at reducing Floating Offshore Wind operational costs by 10-15% and increasing operational efficiency by means of an Annual Energy Production increase by 2-3%.
This Project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Grant Agreement N° 851703.
This Workshop is focused to display to attendants the overall progress on foremost technologies developed: a low-cost smart sensor for FOWT motion monitoring, a Mooring System Digital Twin (DT) model, Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) techniques, as well as control strategies for mooring condition management tolerance at turbine and farm levels.
