Session description
To successfully complete the energy transition support for wind energy is a critical factor. And involving communities in projects from the start of the planning process increases their support, making community engagement highly important. After a wind farm is complete, interacting with communities stays important as they benefit greatly from living close to a wind farm through participating in the project in multiple ways. The wind industry already engages with local communities a lot. Are we doing it correctly and do we need to do more?
