Session description
There is an emerging trend to move towards creation of hybrid systems with wind power projects. The aim is to, either increase efficiency of wind farms, or create more value streams from their production. In this session a number of hybrid projects based on storage and PV panels will be presented by industrial stakeholders. The benefits, like the increase in the total revenue of wind farms, will be discussed. The session will present also how wind farms can be envisaged as hybrid plants to help decarboniseing other sectors like oil & gas assets. You will gain Insights on innovative industrial projects of wind farms hybridisation, understand the role of alternative technologies like storage and PV panels in hybridisation and describe the value chain of hybrid projects.
