Session description
Automation, robotics, advanced sensing and artificial intelligence should enable breakthrough innovation in products and manufacturing processes for wind turbines and their components, supporting optimised development cycles and more modular manufacturing. But the digitalisation of wind turbine manufacturing and construction is still in its early stages and remains a difficult task but with a big potential. This session examines what are the current digitalisation trends in wind turbine manufacturing, how this business will develop and which are the actions to scale it up.
