Abstract

ACCIONA Energy is developing GreenH2chain, a digital platform, based on blockchain, to track the entire value chain of the green hydrogen we produce at ACCIONA Energy. From the energy received by the electrolyzer to our client’s hydrogen consumption points. This energy received and consumed by the electrolizer and produced in ACCIONA Energy’s renewable generation plants in fully tracked by means of Greenchain, our commercial digital platform focus on the traceability of the energy between ACCIONA Energy’s renewable energy generation plants worldwide to client’s consumption points. At this time, there is no hydrogen guarantees of origin mechanism. However, users increasingly demand a system that allows them to see the origin of the green hydrogen they are consuming and helps them to fully demonstrate that they are only consuming green hydrogen instead of any other non-renewable alternative.
