Biography

Dr. Gregor Borstnar is a composite structural design engineer at Gurit (UK). Alongside providing engineering design for high-performance marine structures, he contributes to renewable themes via interdepartmental projects with Gurit’s Wind Industry department. Over the past year, he has become a core member of the digital design team and has been utilising programming, image processing and Research and Development skills to develop the numerical models, framework and programmes presented in this abstract. Previous research experience involved, toughened polymer composite materials, micromechanical modelling and computed tomography.
