Biography

Jordi Serret is a geotechnical engineer working towards ICE chartership. With ten years of experience combining maritime geotechnical engineering, oil industry, and offshore renewables. After more than seven years as a geotechnical engineering consultant working for both public and private companies in different industries, in 2015 he started an Engineering Doctorate in Offshore Renewable Energy, carrying out research on numerical and experimental modelling of floating wind turbines. Throughout hiscareer, he have been involved in geotechnical and geomechanical studies, multi-disciplinary renewable energy detailed design and cost modelling. He also has experience with a wide range of project activities such as contract and project management, budgeting and programme management, production of contract documents, management of multi-disciplinary design teams, and liaison with clients, contractors and external 3rd parties.
