Biography

Alexander Fairtlough is CEO of ISATI Engineering Solutions S.L., an engineering consultancy based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, providing services to world leaders in the Aerospace and Wind Energy and other high technology Industries. He also became Business Development Director of EnerOcean S.L., following ISATI’s investment in this maritime energy R&D SME, developer of the W2Power floating wind platform, the first twin turbine technology in the world to be successfully tested in open sea, ISATI develops its own R&D projects including the development of the W2Power inclined towers, state of the art health monitoring systems and collaboration on innovative high depth fixed offshore wind foundations. The ISATI group also includes ISATI Materials Solutions, providing materials engineering and testing services as well as entities in Switzerland, France, United Kingdom and Portugal Alexander holds a MEng in Aeronautics & Astronautics from the University of Southampton and an MSc in Design of Rotating Machines from the Cranfield Institute of Technology. As a founding shareholder, and CEO for over 15 years, he has led the growth of ISATI into a global entity with over 150 employees and clients worldwide.
