Biography

Imanol Urkiaga is the Offshore and Marine Director at IDOM Consulting, Engineering and Architecture. He holds a MSc in Electric and Electronic Engineering from the University of the Basque Country. He has over 26 years of experience working as an engineer and project manager for IDOM. Since 2019 he oversees the Offshore and Marine Department and has led several national and international offshore wind projects. He is currently the coordinator of WIND2GRID, a consortium developing an innovative concept of integrated floating substation.
