Biography

Marcos Suárez is Wind Project Manager at the Basque Energy Cluster, an association that integrates over 100 organizations working in the wind energy sector in the Basque Country (Spain). He holds a MSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Basque Country and an MBA in 2007 from IESE and Haas School of Business (UC Berkeley). Marcos has over 15 years of international experience in consulting at companies such as KPMG, SANTANDER or MINSAIT, both in the strategic area and in M&A processes or activities related to R&D, with a special focus on the automotive and energy sectors. Recently, he has led several projects in the floating wind segment, from supporting the configuration of demonstration projects to setting up an initiative to develop technology for O&M of floating windfarms.
