Biography

Ulla Engelmann is head of unit for Industrial Forum, Alliances and Clusters at the Networks and Governance directorate within DG GROW, European Commission. Ulla previously worked at the Joint Research Centre (JRC), where she started in Ispra (Italy) in 1993 as a post-doc in fusion research, before going on to manage various units. Ulla holds a PhD in analytical and radiochemistry from the National Research Centre in Karlsruhe.
