Biography

In his role as Chief Commercial Officer and Deputy Group CEO, Martin Neubert leads Ørsted’s globally market leading offshore wind business, Ørsted’s renewable hydrogen/PtX business and its Markets organisation which delivers industry-leading short- and long-term trading and route-to-market energy solutions. Before taking on the role as CCO, Mr. Neubert was CEO of Offshore from 2018. From 2016-18, he was Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Market & Project Development in Ørsted’s Offshore business. From 2014-16, Mr. Neubert was Head of Commercial Transactions & Market Development in Offshore and Head of Group M&A from 2012-14. Mr. Neubert joined Ørsted, at the time known as DONG Energy, in 2008 within Group M&A. Before joining Ørsted, Mr. Neubert has worked within Private Equity and Corporate Finance for Bain Capital, Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen. Mr. Neubert holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance and a CFA charter.
