Team Leader, Ikerlan
BiographyUrko Leturiondo was born in 1989 in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Basque Country). He is Industrial Engineer majored in Mechanics and Industrial Design by Tecnun - Engineering School of Universidad de Navarra (2012) and he received his PhD degree by Luleå University of Technology (2016). In 2012 he joined the Mechanical Engineering Department of Ikerlan as a PhD student, doing his research on the topic of condition monitoring of rolling element bearings in collaboration with the Division of Operation and Maintenance Engineering of Luleå University of Technology. From 2016 to 2019 he worked as a researcher in the Control and Monitoring Area of Ikerlan. Since 2020 he leads the team of Monitoring of Ikerlan. His current research interests include modelling of mechatronic systems, condition monitoring, vibration and acoustic analysis, data analytics and asset management. He has published 9 articles in indexed journals and more than 10 international conference papers.
