Biography

María del Mar de Ros is the CEO of the Spanish SailGP team and the only woman in the competition to hold this position. With a double degree in Law and Business Administration from the University of Navarra and a MBA from IESE Business school, her professional career has evolved through Investment Banking (Citi - M&A), Strategy Consulting (McKinsey) and Executive Education (IESE Business School). Sports team management was a hobby when she created with Jordi Xammar, Olympic medallist, the Spanish Impulse, first Spanish Team to participate in the Youth America’s Cup. Currently, she is the CEO of the Spain SailGP Team.
