Biography

Career… Melanie Kievit joined Shell in Summer 2002, after finishing her master’s degree at Delft University. She held a variety of roles in supply chain and procurement, ranging from Lubricants supply chain, to Downstream road transport, Upstream and Project Logistics, and Procurement roles supporting both the Oil&Gas capital projects as well as Wind projects. Currently she is the Supply Chain Manager for offshore Wind, accountable for all Contracting & Procurement delivery accountability for Shell's Offshore Wind business. She manages a team of CP professionals across the world working on supply chain development as input for bid preparation, delivery of contracting strategies, tenders, and contract execution. Outside of work…. At a personal level, Melanie is married to Wiegert and has two girls, aged 9 and 11. Outside work she enjoys tennis, running, travelling, and dinner with friends.
