Biography

Raffaello leads the floating wind Load Analysis team of Sofresid Engineering (Saipem subsidiary in France), deploying state-of-the-art simulations with a lean approach to support Saipem’s projects worldwide. Building up from a naval architecture background, he holds an Engineering Doctorate and has 10 years of experience in floating wind, having worked in this field within EDF and Naval Energies. In recent times, Raffaello has served as expert for the IEC TS 61400-3-2 (TC88/MT3-2) work group and has been involved in the public hearing of DNV-ST-0119 2021 revision.
