Biography

Paul Fontaine is founder and CEO of SkyVisor, a company that empowers wind farm technicians to independently inspect blades thanks to a fully automated drone-based solution. His background is in electrical engineering and computer science, with particular focus on drone design, cloud developpement and big data management. Before funding SkyVisor, Paul has been designing and deploying industry focused drones for 8 years, leading to the creation of SkyVisor, currently the most used automatic blade inspection drone software in France and Belgium. His expertise and the one of his team enables him to have a strong understanding on rotor-blade maintenance strategies to implement a synergy of internalization and outsourcing.
