Biography

Ms. Amanda Chapron is a mechanical engineer graduated from the ENSMM (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et de Microtechnique) at Besançon (France). She has participated in several research projects, especially in the field of fatigue behaviour of materials (ETSEIB-UPC). She has been working for more than 15 years in mechanical test laboratories activities, from materials to structural testing. Since 2010 she works in Applus Laboratories Barcelona as technical director of structural testing activities managing the tests for wind turbine and aeronautical projects.
