Biography
As Country Manager, Clément Mochet is responsible for project development in the French market, with a special focus on national floating offshore wind tenders and greenfield projects.
Clément brings over a decade of experience in offshore energy, in particular in the area of mooring systems and offshore installation operations.
Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Clément worked at Vryhof, the mooring solutions specialist based in Rotterdam. He served as Commercial & Business Development Director with responsibility over global business acquisition and offshore markets development. In his role, Clément oversaw the supply of mooring solutions for the majority of prototypes and small-scale commercial floating wind projects.
Previously, Clément served as Commercial Director for Le Béon Manufacturing, a SME marine forging company based in France. He was instrumental in positioning the company within the offshore renewables sector supply chain, notably with the supply of mooring system for the Floatgen project. Earlier in his carrier, Clément was in charge of commissioning activities at Sundyne, a United Technologies Company for the EMEA region.
A floating offshore wind enthusiast, Clément is a regular contributor to major industry events as panelist, committee member or author.
Clément holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from INSA (Lyon) and TUT (Tampere).
