Biography
Julia le Maitre is an Early Stage Researcher and Marie Skłodowska Curie-Actions Scholar focused on the social acceptance of wind energy. Her work focuses on market and local dimensions of wind development acceptance in Europe, on projects including Co-Wind (Community Engagement in Wind Energy: Innovative approaches to achieving a social licence) and Horizon 2020 project MISTRAL (Multi-sectoral approaches to Innovative Skills Training for Renewable energy & sociAL acceptance). She currently works on the determinants of public acceptance of community benefits, local engagement and citizen co-investment into wind energy projects in Ireland.Posters
